Day 1 : Gray Line Cruise 3D2N (Lunch & Dinner)

Itinerary day 1:
Hanoi – Tuan Chau Marina - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay

7.45 – 8.15a.m Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel in the old quarter, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi for the 3,5 hours trip to Tuan Chau.

12.15p.m Embark at Tuan Chau Marina pier (Tuan Chau island, Halong city). Enjoy complimentary drink at Gray Line private lounge.

12.30p.m Transfer to Gray Line Halong Cruise by tender. Welcome drink, followed by cruise briefings. Check in your cabins.

1.00p.m Enjoy a great set lunch. Relax on sundeck and grab the unparalleled scenery of Halong Bay while cruising ahead to the Bay. Cruise through Hoa Cuong floating fishing farm.

2.30p.m Arrive at Me Cung (Maze) Cave. Join tour with guide to explore the cave. Climb up several rugged stone stairs to see a great lake considered as a royal garden and surrounded by mountains.  Its water is blue all year round.

4.00p.m Back to the cruise and head to Bright Cave - a very beautiful lagoon that is part of Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba Island. Visit some tunnel caves by Kayak or bamboo boat. Time to savor the beauty and amazing islet’s stalactites in detail.

 Enjoy swimming around the boat (upon weather condition). Relax on the sundeck. Enjoy fantastic views and take stunning pictures of gleaming sunsets.

6.30p.m  Join Cooking demonstration on the sundeck. Learn how to make fresh/-fried spring rolls and mix fish-sauce.

 Also you will have chance to catch the sunset in a small party with cocktails and seasonal fruits.

7.30p.m  Enjoy the dinner with BBQ dishes that served with a variety of Vietnamese and Western foods.

9.00p.m Evening activities: watching film at the outdoor bar, playing board and Card games; squid fishing on boat.  Enjoy squid cooked after fishing.

10.00p.m We overnight at a quiet sleeping area.

Day 2 : Gray Line Cruise 3D2N (Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner)

Itinerary day 2: Tai Chi – Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island - Hanoi

The early risers can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and begin the day with a light but healthy Tai Chi exercise. Tai Chi helps to focus the mind and conditions the body and what an environment to do it in.

07.30a.m Have breakfast with coffee, tea and bakeries on board.

08.30a.m Transfer to Gray Line sightseeing boat and depart for Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba island.

10.00a.m Arrive at Viet Hai pier – take a bicycle trip along the village path and cycle through the rain forest and a dark tunnel. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. We stop at the village to relax and visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo… Take a short trek to the core of Cat Ba National Forest to visit the Bat Cave.

12.00p.m We cycle back to Viet Hai pier and head back to the Cruise. Lunch will be served on board.

2 - 4.00p.m Kayaking at Three-Peach Islet – an ideal place with light wind and gentle waves, emerald pure water and a none-touristic feeling. Swimming on the beach (upon weather and tide condition).

5.30p.m Cruise back to the overnight anchorage area.

6.00p.m Relax and enjoy sunset on the Sundeck.

6.30p.m Join Cooking demonstration on the sundeck. Learn how to make the fresh/fried spring rolls and mix fish-sauce.

7.30p.m Enjoy a fabulous buffet BBQ dinner served with a variety of Vietnamese and Western foods.

10.00p.m Overnight at the quietest sleeping area (as day 1).

Day 3 : Gray Line Cruise 3D2N (Breakfast & Lunch)

Itinerary day 3: Tai Chi – Rang Dua – Tuan Chau - Hanoi

07.30a.m Have breakfast with coffee, tea and bakeries on board.

08.30a.m Arrive at Gray Line’s exclusive floating house in Rang Dua area by tender – one of few existing houses left after the regulation of management to relocate the traditional floating village to the main land.

 Spend about 45 minutes to an hour to learn and experience how different life is here compared to the mainland. Learn about their foods, how they earn a living, their children, their culture and their private fish farm. This place is exclusive for Gray Line customers only.

09.30a.m Check out cabin. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room to enjoy the bay scenery on the way back to Tuan Chau pier. Farewell lunch will be served on board.

11.45a.m Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina. Relax at Gray Line private lounge. Transfer back to Hanoi.

4.30 – 5 p.m The tour ends and you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in the old quarter.

What do I need to know?

During the period March to November it will good to pack your swimming gear, a towel, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (at least SPF15), a reliable insect repellent, toiletries, a camera and lots of batteries. Warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March is advised. How much luggage can I take? Your vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15kgs in a backpack or soft over-night bag and include a small day pack to hand carry for easy access to camera, sunscreen, water etc. Inhibitions can be left in the luggage storage rooms at your hotel with your other unwanted baggage.
